Vote for Alexander Hamilton
A Neighbor Who Listens. A Leader Who Acts.
Experience You Can Trust. Leadership You Deserve. After 35+ years in Hamilton Park and proven results on the School Board, I'm ready to fight for all of Ward E.
Meet Alexander
Alexander Hamilton has called Hamilton Park home for more than 35 years. A lifelong advocate for his community, he first served on the Hamilton Park Conservancy Board before being elected to the Jersey City Board of Education, where he proudly represented families from 2020 to 2022.
As a School Board Trustee and President of the Special Education Committee, Alexander championed initiatives to improve student health and learning conditions—ensuring safe drinking water, installing air conditioners in classrooms, and expanding access to programs like Girls Who Code, which he helped bring to Jersey City schools at no cost to the district. He also held the Board accountable for its billion-dollar budget, pushing to reduce wasteful spending and direct more resources to students.
Alexander's passion for education and public service is deeply personal. Inspired by his son Cole, who is autistic and recently graduated from P.S. 37 Cordero, to run for public office and advocate for all families, Alexander has worked tirelessly to make schools more inclusive and supportive for every child.
Today, Alexander continues serving Jersey City as a Commissioner on the Rent Leveling Board—where he is known for being fair and balanced—and as President of his Hamilton Park condominium board. Beyond public service, he is a tech entrepreneur, innovator, and U.S. patent holder with years of leadership experience as CEO of a partnered technology company.
Now, Alexander is ready to bring his dedication, experience, and problem-solving skills to City Hall. As Councilman for Ward E, he will fight for safer streets, stronger schools, affordable housing, and a Jersey City that works for all residents.

Our Platform
Safe Streets, Welcoming Neighborhoods
Safe Streets mean more than fighting crime– they mean clean air for our kids, well-lit sidewalks and neighborhoods where families feel comfortable walking to school or the park. I'll make sure every corner of Ward E gets resources for maintenance, lighting, and safety so that – from Hamilton Park to the waterfront– every family feels safe and supported right where they live.
Strengthen Our Schools and Support Working Families
When I saw kids sweating through 90-degree classrooms, I didn't just complain—I got results. I fought to bring air conditioning to our schools, so students could now learn in comfort. I made sure every school has clean, safe drinking water—today 100% of schools are verified safe, because no parent should ever worry about what their child drinks at school.
As a father of a special needs child, I know how often the system fails our most vulnerable kids. That's why I fought to secure better support for our special needs students. I dug into every line of the billion-dollar school budget, found millions being wasted, and redirected that money to where it belongs—helping our kids. And I made sure Girls Who Code came to Jersey City schools at zero cost to taxpayers, giving our girls the chance to build real tech skills every year.
Protect Affordable Housing and Fight for Fairness
On the Rent Leveling Board, I've fought to keep Jersey City affordable for working families. I've already helped protect hundreds of families from unfair rent hikes because I know how tough it is to keep up with rising costs. Development should work for current residents, not push them out. When developers try to push through projects that don't serve our community, I stand up for the people who call Ward E home. For me, fair housing policies aren't just paperwork—they're about making sure neighbors can stay in their neighborhoods and have a real voice in the decisions that affect their lives.
Ensure Jersey City Works for All Residents
When I held the School Board accountable for its $1 billion budget, I learned that transparency isn't optional—it's essential for trust. As a business leader and patent holder, I know that accountability produces results. I believe every taxpayer dollar should be spent wisely, every decision should be made openly, and every resident should be able to see how government works. When I question budgets and demand transparency, I'm not just pushing paperwork—I'm fighting for your right to know, because Jersey City should work for all of us.
